The qualifying marks for LPU NEST varies between 30% to 40% for different courses. By qualifying LPU NEST you will fulfil one of the eligibility conditions required to take admission to LPU. LPU offers B.Tech (Aerospace Engineering). The basic eligibility criteria for aeronautical engineering is a minimum of 70-75% marks in aggregate in PCM in Class 12. Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics securing at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Yes, you definitely can join Indian air force. For that, you can either attempt CDS exam or AFCAT exam. After clearing the exam, you need to go through 5 days SSB interview procedure. And only if you clear the SSB interview, then you will be going through a medical test. After clearing all these you can finally step into the air force academy.
