Aerospace Engineering Eligibility

In my opinion, there are very few colleges, which can offer master in aerospace engineering for those students who have done their B.Tech. In industrial engineering. Chandigarh University is one of the best universities which offers Masters in aerospace engineering. Dear Avinash, I have no idea of eligibility for the B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering at IIT but being alumni of LPU, I would like to share the details of this programme at LPU. Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in the industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities. LPU has recognised this and developed the curriculum in consultation with the industry. It has even set up a center for space research with a mission control facility. LPU has set an ambitious goal of developing a satellite LPUSAT-1, which will be launched next year (2021) The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), download lives satellite images, and receive telemetry, Science/engineering data from nano-satellites and larger spacecraft The Center will act as a key facility in the field of space research for LPU as well as a virtual lab for Universities, Colleges and Schools in India and the neighboring countries of India A team of students, Visionauts, from Lovely Professional University have won the prestigious STEM Engagement Award in the 2019 NASA's
The human Exploration Rover Challenge was held at the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This marks the third consecutive occasion of a team from LPU getting selected to participate in the prestigious competition. Interestingly, the team also got an opportunity to interact with Sunita Williams, a NASA astronaut, and two-time spaceflight veteran, who attended the second day of the event. I hope this helps

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech Aerospace Engineering at IIST is given below:
(A) Eligibility criteria : Minimum Marks Requirement in Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have secured at least 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII (or equivalent see below for list of Qualifying Examinations) Board examination. The aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD candidates should be at least 65%. The marks scored in the following five subjects will be considered for calculating the aggregate marks:1. Physics2. Chemistry3. Mathematics4. A language (if the candidate has taken more than one language, then the language with the higher marks will be considered). Any subject other than the above four (the subject with the highest marks will be
considered).
(B) Minimum Marks Requirement in JEE (Advanced)2020 Examination: Candidates should have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2020 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), to qualify themselves to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced)-2020 conducted by IITs and secure the minimum prescribed marks by IIST.
So, from the above Diploma students are not eligible for this course.
