Eligibility criteria for aerospace engineering after class 12 is mentioned below:
The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from CBSE or any other equivalent examination board with physics, chemistry and mathematics as core subjects. The candidates should also fulfill minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of the subjects.
An entrance exam may also be conducted by university for admission to their course. Alternatively, you can also opt to appear for national or state level entrance exam to secure admission in this course.

Hello Anand, Theoretically, aeronautical engineering is the nomenclature of the course of study and the industry that deals in aeroplanes is called as aerospace industry. Presently opportunities for job in this field are very limited but with passage of time it is expected that more and more job opportunities will crop up in India.

Hello Bhoopathi, Your query is genuine but answering it is bit tricky. These days perhaps only NIT's & IIT's or CFTI's are the government colleges that accept students on all India basis. Almost no state government allows students of other states to take admission in government or aided private colleges. In addition NIT's & CFTI's do not offer aeronautical engineering branch. So this leaves option of only IIT or your state government college for admission. There is link on Shiksha platform to know government colleges of your state. I would advise you to have a look ATIT then decide.
