Satellite communication for those satellites orbiting Earth is one subject and communication with satellites going into deep space is another subject. Research in space is going on full steam in many Govt. funded Institutions. But first you have to decide which aspect you want to do research in. Best wishes.

Frankly speaking, Aeronautical or Aerospace engineering have less scope in India. This is so since India purchased majority of Aeronautical platforms from abroad. Here jobs are there in DRDO / ISRO but quite less. Though engineers from this branch do get absorbed in some private companies like L&T, Tata, Mahindra etc.

You only require to have passed 12th with PCM. This Institute offers aircraft maintenance course that is approved by DGCA and also enables students to obtain liscense from DGCA. Placements are almost assured.

This college is neither approved by nor recognized by AICTE. But it need not be. It is not offering any Engineering course. It's offering three year aircraft maintenance course. This is approved by DGCA & Institute enables students to obtain license from DGCA.

Seats in IIST are allotted strictly as per your rank. If they have your desired Specialisation at the time of Admission then you must give your choice for this. But possibly it could be optional subject later on then you have to choose main branch first.

In Tamil Nadu admissions to engineering colleges are through entrance test conducted by state govt. If you have appeared and passed with good marks, then you have chance of Admission.
