- Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering offers two certificate courses in the field of AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) and this institution is a part of the Sha-Shib Group of Institutions which is the largest in Asia for training in AME. It is ranked 2 among Asia's top 10 most valuable Aviation & Training Providers. There are two certificate courses at Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering, Sha-Shib Group of Institutions. The institution offers the AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) programs in two specialisations: Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) and Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics).

Both of the courses are 3 year long and the seat intake under each specialisation is 60.

The selection process for Certificate courses at Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering, Sha-Shib Group of Institutions is through the national-level entrance exam: SSAT. It is conducted by the Sha-Shib Group. 

The official website says,” The Sha-Shib Scholarship and Aptitude Test (SSAT) is a national-level common enrollment and scholarship exam for participating in an AME course at the top-ranked AME institutes under Sha-Shib Group that have received DGCA approval. Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering provides two 3-year certificate courses: Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) and Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics).

The Institute of Aeronautics and Engineering, Bhopal offers four certificate courses of 100 days: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical)- B1.1, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics), Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical)- B1.3 and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical)- B1.2.
