Review of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute.

Placements: Placement in our college is not very bad, but it is good. There is a separate placement cell for training students to get placed in the companies. My previous batch of students got a good number of placements with multiple offers for some students.

Infrastructure: Our college is very good. Our college has a strong building with good infrastructure, including separate blocks for different branches, labs, and a library. The computer labs are equipped with high-tech systems, and classrooms are spacious enough for over 100 students.

Faculty: Teachers at our college are very experienced. Their teaching skills are excellent, making it easy for students to understand the material. The curriculum is relevant and regularly updated to keep students industry-ready. Semester exams are not overly difficult.

Satisfied because of the good environment, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: This college has a good name in placements, Many engineering students got placed during the third year or fourth year by the end you can get a job. A minimum 8 CGPA is required. 50 LPA is the highest and 8 LPA is the lowest package. Wipro, Amaran, and Intel are recruiting companies. 60% of students got placed.

Infrastructure: The labs and classrooms are very good. There is a big library where you can get the books that you want. There is a washing machine and hot water facility. Good and hygienic quality of food is available. There is a hospital near to the hostel. We can play so many sports, we have big grounds.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not that difficult they are easy only. The pass percentage is 50%, if we get that we will pass.

College is ok, and no offense

Placements: As for my batch, we are the first on campus, so there are no current seniors we can reach out to and ask for advice. However, we have been told that everything depends on grades and how we manage during our internship. A minimum starting package of Rs.25,000 is what we have been informed about. Starters work as technicians in the OT.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for us, and classrooms are mid-level standard. There is no AC in classrooms, despite the hot and humid weather. For the fees we pay, I think adding one or two AC units in classrooms wouldn’t hurt. The library is good, though. The hostel is strict, especially for girls. The canteen is fine, not the best, but acceptable. The medical facilities are fine as well. Students receive a discount if they undergo treatment at the hospital. Sports and games are non-existent.

Faculty: Teachers are good, knowledgeable, and helpful. However, students from other states face huge difficulties because almost all classes are conducted in Tamil, so they don’t understand. The semester exams are fine as long as proper study is done. They are not very hard to pass.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it, and I still am. I still like the topic and will continue my further studies as well. My classmates are nice. Despite my being from a different state and sometimes being called Chinese, they still treat me well and help me out whenever I need assistance. Events in college are dull for me, at least. They are too crowded, and perhaps because of the language, I don’t understand much, even though I try to. I wouldn’t say I am having a college life here. The campus is not that big.

The college has good faculty and good teachers.

Placements: Approximately 60% of students are placed in our course. The highest package is 6 LPA, the average is 4 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Hexaware, Cognizant, and TCS. 50% of students get an internship. The roles offered are web developer and data analyst.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my course are good. They provide Wi-Fi, good labs, classrooms, and a library, which are good. The food quality is also so good, students can get both veg and non-veg food, and the food changes on a daily basis.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, and I would rate it 7 out of 10. Students have to study on their own, as the curriculum is not good that it can make students industry-ready. Students shouldn't depend only on the college, they have to do something on their own. Semester exams are not too difficult, but are easy. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I chose this course because I thought that if I did this course, I would get some technical knowledge. The best thing about this course is that you can explore lots of things. I can say to our education system that they need to change their syllabus, they are only focusing on theory and not showing a lot of practical. In my college, they conduct events and fests. The campus crowd is good, and students can do extracurricular activities too.

This place is very clean and enjoyable. Teachers are nice.

Placements: Dr. MGR University has decent placements with companies like Zoho, TCS, and Wipro recruiting students. This is a better option for highly skilled students. Plus two students in science and more than 80% got admission to this college. This course is in high demand.

Infrastructure: MGR University is well-maintained and very clean. This place is very beautiful and has very calm surroundings which helps to easily study. Large and neat classrooms. The library is near the classroom. Hostel near the college and ladies have separate hostels.

Faculty: This university's teachers are very friendly and provide excellent classes this college provides teachers to study classes. The exams are tough but help to achieve the semester in an easy way. The university faculty is very calm-minded. I easily passed the all semesters.

Other: I passed science with 92%.

Good with maintenance and dissatisfied because of placements and staff.

Placements: The percentage of placements in your college is less than 30% and the highest package is 13 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. There are no top recruiting companies for every course, no specific internships in our course and no top roles offered in our course .

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is so beautiful and labs, library and classrooms are dissatisfied with staff and placements. The food is good and the medical facilities are excellent. There are no fests in college and they keep yearly, once-a-year games for the chairman's birthday .

Faculty: Not so strict. You can come and go anytime. There are no restrictions on that kind of stuff. No one is going to ask about attendance. As well as your studies. If you want to learn something, you have to do it on your own. The only thing you want to note is that you should not indulge in any problems. And for more details, check out other reviews .

Other: It was a great college. It got a reputation from their staff and teachers. I would surely recommend any newly joining student in any field to have a look at this college. Since it has been deemed necessary, a donation could be possible. But the environment of the college will mesmerize you with its amazing infrastructure. The students are quite well behaved.
