National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) has launched a self-financed One-year Diploma in Agricultural Extension Services for Input Dealers (DAESI) Program during the year 2003 with a course fee of Rs.20, 000/- to the input dealers. For job purpose, MBA Agriculture is better than M.Sc Agriculture while for research and further studies related to the course M.Sc is best. Also, expense for MBA is much more higher than that of M.Sc. From top institutes, MBA will cost you INR 8 lac to 12 lac while M.Sc will cost you maximum up to INR 2 to 3 lac.

B.Sc Hons. Agricultue ( Four years duration) is available at Palli-Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Agriculture) with total intakes of 23 seats (general). The eligibility criteria is given below.
Eligibility criteria : 60% marks at +2 level with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology(Life Science) and any one of the following subjects: Mathematics/ Agronomy /Modern computer application / Computer Science / Statistics.

At all India level, ICAR conducts exam for UG course in agriculture. You can also apply for Madhya Pradesh PAT exam for Madhya Pradesh agriculture colleges.

Recognised means one which offers courses as per the norms of the council constituted by government of India for good quality education. The councils or the commissions recognizes universities on the basis of the quality of education, Infrastructure, etc. And gives it a certificate of recognition. Without this certificate, your degree will be invaluable.

Yes, you can pursue MBA agriculture after B.Sc. Horticulture, not B.Sc. Agriculture. MBA is open for all the candidates regardless of their stream.
