MCAER PG CET Syllabus of the examination comprises of topics from the syllabus of UG in agriculture like Horticulture, Agricultural Extension, Animal Science & Dairy Science, etc. This test carries 70% weightage in the selection process. Rest 30% weightage is given to candidates score in under graduation. Interested candidates can apply for the exam online on the official website www.mcaer.org.

Pantnagar University, is the first agricultural university of India. It was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru on 17th November 1960, as the "Uttar Pradesh Agricultural University" (UPAU). Later the name was changed to "Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology" in 1972 in memory of the first chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, statesman and Bharat Ratna recipient Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant.
