Hi Kanika, Jobs for aspirants within the public sector are quite ample. There are many firms that are under the aegis of the Indian government that offer aspirants with jobs of high profiles. With the right qualification, a person can get employed as an Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). Upon clearing the NET qualification, aspirants can start their career as a lecturer. Besides this, jobs are also available for aspirants as Block Development Officers (BDO) or Agriculture Development Officers (ADO). To get this job, it will be needed by applicants to write an admission test.

For any university, you have to crack their exams so that you can get scholarship. In case of JET please check the respective colleges or universities, if this was a national qualifying exam then you can get scholarship according to the merit. You can try to check with PAU Ludhiana, Lovely Professional University-Jalandhar, Agriculture University, Jodhpur.

Hi,
Both the degrees are different. When you pursue pharma you can get sales and marketing jobs. In government sector also specific pharma jobs are there. You can start your own medicine business. B.Sc Hons agriculture is useful if you would like to go for Masters, PhD and then research or high end government sector jobs.
