Hi,
You have to check the syllabus yourself on University websites. Hons course will involve more specialised courses and the general one will not cover specialised courses which are meant only for Hons. Syllabus is obviously not same here and abroad except may be a few core subjects in agriculture which are samein every universally.

Yes, the university is UGC recognized. It has good reviews and it is pretty difficult to gain entry into its agriculture course. It has a good track record of placements and infrastructure and hostel facilities are also nice. Overall, it is a good choice.

Scholarships are normally awarded to students who do well in their studies. You should check with your institute if you are eligible for scholarships in your current set-up.
