GSFC University has been setup under Gujarat State Private Universities act 2009. AICTE approval is not required for a University to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Honorable Supreme Court judgment in the case of Bharathidasan University & ANR vs. All India Council for Technical Education & Organisation.
