Yes, you are eligible for the UGC NET exam if your PGDM is only AICTE approved. To be eligible for the UGC NET course, you must have completed a post graduate degree from a recognised university and an AICTE approved institute. The PGDM from an AICTE approved institute is considered equivalent to a Master's degree from a recognised Indian University by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Somaiya Vidyavihar University itself isn't AICTE-approved for technical programs. It's accredited by NAAC for overall quality. To confirm AICTE approval for a specific program, check the offering institute's website or search the AICTE website itself.

No, you cannot apply for DTU LEET (Delhi Technological University Lateral Entry Entrance Test) after completing your Diploma course from a non-AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) Polytechnic college.

Here's why:

  • DTU LEET Eligibility Criteria: The official DTU LEET information brochure explicitly states that candidates applying through the lateral entry scheme must have completed a three-year Diploma programme in Engineering or Technology from a recognised institution affiliated to AICTE. You can find this information on the official DTU website.
