There are no such cut off marks for serving and ex-servicemen wards. And regarding placement, yes we do have good placement records of previous years.

For getting into AIMK, you have to first appear in CAT written exam and then in GD and PI rounds.
No one can get direct admission here.
But you can take admission here despite being a general candidate, because they have few seats reserved for home state candidates.

Here, 80% seats are reserved for army ward. It does not matter if your father is serving or retired. And yes, you have to appear for CAT followed by GD and PI. to get admission in a college.

Every college is different from the others in various aspects.
I am not pretty sure about the placements of AIMS.
But, in terms of return on investments, IISWBM should be better.
