Both the institutes offer the MBA programme for two-years. Admissions in both universities are based on CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT scores. The MIT Shillong also accepts state entrance exams. The average salary at AIM is INR 7.4 LPA while MIT placement records are not available. The total fee for MBA at AIM is INR 3.3 Lacs while at MIT Shillong is INR 3.5 lakh. Yes, admissions in MBA at AIM-Assam are possible without CAT. The institute accepts other exams like CMAT/MAT/XAT and ATMA. Students can appear for entrance and fill the application form on official website. The university selects students on the basis of merit. Selected students have to appear for GD and Personal Interview as a final round.

Students have to appear for entrance exams like CAT /CMAT/MAT/XAT and ATMA in order to get admission in MBA at AIM-Assam. The application form dates vary as per the exam. Yes, the institute provides hostel facility for students. However, additional fee charges are applicable for the same. The hostel has many amenities like Mess, etc. Separate accommodation is provided for males and females. Allotment of hostel is based on availability and merit scores.
