To get admission into AME courses at Indira Institute of Aircraft Engineering, the college accepts the scores of candidates achieved in Class 12 (PCM stream) or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, and Aeronautical from a recognised university or its equivalent. Further, candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in their Class 12. Candidates who have secured fewer scores than 50% are required to go through an entrance exam, conducted by the university itself, which contains a Class 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics syllabus, & a comprehensive English essay in 30 minutes.
