Other than this, this programme lasts for three years. Under this programme, students get to choose from various specialisations. Thakur Institute of Aviation Technology aka TIAT Mumbai, offers three AME courses. The institute offers B1.1 (Heavy Aeroplane & Turbine Engine), B2 (Avionics) and B1.3 (Helicopter & Turbine Engine). To apply for the AME course, the candidate should meet the last educational qualification set by the institute. The eligibility a: Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (PCM) or Diploma. Students are selected on a merit basis.
