Indeed, AKTU accepts BTech CUET scores. AKTU offers admission to two specialisations for BTech programmes through CUET: Biotechnology in Agriculture Other than these, a CUET score is acceptable for straight admission to the BTech course's second year. Applicants can apply to the CUET to be admitted to the BTech (LE).

The CUET exam is the basis for admission to several UG and PG programs at AKTU; the only entrance exam that AKTU accepts for admission to B.Tech programs is JEE Main. For B.Tech admission, the UPCET test was replaced by JEE Mains. Admission to AKTU's 2024 courses offered at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate levels is determined by a combination of national entrance tests such as CUET, NATA, JEE Main, etc. and the candidate's merit in prior qualifying degrees. AKU Indore has nine departments that are housed at its main campus. These departments collectively offer more than 25 courses at UG, PG and Diploma level, including BE, BSc, BA, MTech, MA, MBA, etc., among various others. APJ Abdul Kalam University offers courses at the PhD, PG, UG, Diploma/Polytechnic level. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University offers more than 12 courses in the stream of Design, Engineering, and Science among others.

Students must complete BE/BTech with 60% aggregate (54% for SC/ ST students) with a valid UPTAC rank. Those who have a valid GATE exam are also eligible for admission. However, such candidates first need to appear for the counselling session along with UPTAC rank.

There is no upper age limit for pursuing UG programmes offered at AKTU but candidates need to be at least 16 years of age as of December 31 of the current academic year to pursue any of these courses.
