AKTU - Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (UPTU) Admission Process

No, candidates cannot get direct admission in AKTU for BTech programme. The university offers various UG, PG, and doctoral-level courses. Most of these programmes admit students based on their academic merit or national-level entrance test scores. The university accepts several exams, such as JEE Main, CUET, NATA, IPU CET, etc. Direct admission is provided only on vacant seats at the institution or college level. 

AKTU admission for MCA programme is based on CUET-PG or NIMCET scores. Candidates need to provide a valid score in any of the accepted entrance exam while filling out the application form. Students are selected based on AKTU Counselling.

Indeed, AKTU accepts BTech CUET scores. AKTU offers admission to two specialisations for BTech programmes through CUET: Biotechnology in Agriculture Other than these, a CUET score is acceptable for straight admission to the BTech course's second year. Applicants can apply to the CUET to be admitted to the BTech (LE).

The general admission process for AKTU BTech course is through the entrance exam. The university accepts national or state-level entrance exams like JEE Main, CUET, KEAM, or IPU CET. The selection will be followed by counselling.45%

AKTU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

They must have scored a minimum passing aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in Higher secondary examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as the compulsory subjects.The total course fee for the BTech programme at AKTU ranges between INR 35,600 and INR 12.5 lakh. AKTU BTech admissions is offered based on JEE Main scores.

These departments collectively offer more than 25 courses at UG, PG and Diploma level, including BE, BSc, BA, MTech, MA, MBA, etc., among various others. APJ Abdul Kalam University offers courses at the PhD, PG, UG, Diploma/Polytechnic level. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University offers more than 12 courses in the stream of Design, Engineering, and Science among others.

CUET PG is the accepting exam for AKTU MBA admission.
