The Chancellor’s Award of Algoma University is a scholarship valued at CAD 5,000 per academic year for international secondary school graduates entering their first year of study in a UG degree. To avail this scholarship, students must be studying on a full-time basis. Also, a student must achieve a minimum of A+ average (or country equivalent) in their previous academic record. On top of this, the language requirement as given below should also be met:
- Duolingo: 125
- IELTS: 7.0 overall, no band less than 6
- PTE: 65

As per unofficial sources Algoma University acceptance rate is 65% that shows the university is moderately selective at time of admissions. So make sure to meet admission requirements. For admission to UG applicants are required to have Higher Secondary School Certificate and for admission to PG applicants are required to have a UG degree with the minimum percentage as specified.

It has lower than average tuition, affordable residence options, and some of great entrance scholarships. In short, while studying at Algoma University, one can finish his / her programme for less cost than elsewhere. If we look at Algoma University fees for undergraduate programs and for PG Certificate programs, then it will cost around INR 13 Lakh. For UG Certificate programs, the tuition fee can cost around INR 9 Lacs – INR 12 lakh. On top of this, students have to look for the cost of living too.
