The information regarding applying for more than one programme through a single application form for the MA course at Aliah University is available on its official website. The information is that candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes/courses/subjects at the same time. The application form will be the same; candidates can choose their preferred specialisation while filling out the application form. Moreover, the application fee varies as per the subject/ specialisation selected.

No, Aliah University does not offer direct admissions to MA courses. The university is a public university that accepts entrance examination scores for admissions to MA courses. Moreover, to get admissions, candidates are required to complete the complete eligibility criteria with the selection process. The eligibility criteria are that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree in the same subjects with an aggregate of 45%. Moreover, for the selection process, the university accepts the scores of its in-house entrance exam (AUAT), the Aliah University Admission Test.

Yes, candidates can pursue various government job opportunities after completing an MA course from Aliah University. Moreover, MA students can prepare for various government recruitment exams during their course. Or they can take a gap year to prepare for competitive government exams. One can pursue these careers if one qualifies for the recruitment exams. These jobs are highly secure. The name of the entrance exam for the Aliah University MA course is the Aliah University Admission Test. AUAT is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper test), and the duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours. Candidates have to register themselves online on the official website of Aliah University to fill out the AUAT application forms. Candidates must follow the AUAT exam pattern and revise the AUAT syllabus for the AUAT exam.

Aliah University does have MA seat reservations for students belonging to the special category. The seat reservation policy is as per the government of the state for special category candidates. Around 4 % of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the PC/PwD category, and 5% of seats fall under the disability reservation.

After the release of the provisional merit list for admission to the MA course at Aliah University. The university conducts the online counselling for seat allotments, followed by document verification. The university primarily conducts e-counseling for its course. Further, after the counselling process, candidates are required to pay a certain amount of course/admission fee. However, the university only conducts offline counselling for the courses with programme code U 21, U 13, and U 14.
