For admission to nursing programmes, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), in New Delhi, conducts a nursing exam. The admission test for the nursing programmes B.Sc. (Hons.), B.Sc. (Post-Basic) and B.Sc. (Paramedical) beyond the MBBS exam is conducted by AIIMS Delhi. Students get admitted to B.Sc. nursing programmes via a two-stage process. The first is via the recently developed AIIMS technique called PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration).
