Doctor of Philosophy Ph.D. in Pharmacology
Duration of the course shall be the time period from registration to submission of thesis. The minimum period of registration in respect of all the candidates who are registered for Ph.D. shall be three years. The maximum period of registration shall not exceed five years. Extension beyond the period of 5 years can be given for a maximum period of 6 months on the recommendation of Dean Committee and final approval by Dean/Director. Ph.D. Pharmacology or Doctorate in Pharmacology is a research-based doctoral course in Pharmacology for a minimum of 3 years duration, but it can be stretched up to 5 years. Progression beyond the first year requires performance at a sufficient level which determines the duration of the course.
