For admission to BHMS at PP Savani University, students need to pass Class 12 with PCB as the main subject from a recognised board, as per the minimum eligibility criteria. The minimum age limit of the applicant must be 17 years. There is a separate eligibility criteria for the students from the Gujarat board, CBSE and Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations Board. The admission to BHMS is entrance-based. Admission to BHMS programme is based on NEET UG score obtained by a candidate. In case of vacant seats, seats are filled based on aggregate obtained by interested applicants in graduation.

As per the eligibility guidelines issued by the counselling conducting body, a candidate must be minimum 17 years of age and not more than 25 years as on December 31 of the year of his/her admission. There is a relaxation of 05 years in the upper age limit for SC, ST, ST-STA, OBC, MBC and PH candidates.
