Academic Requirements

• 10+2 certification from an accredited school.
• Mathematics, chemistry, and physics must have been studied as foundational courses.
• Generally speaking, a minimum of 60% in 10+2 grades is needed; however, this may vary slightly depending on the specialty.

Admission Test

• Depending on the candidate's academic standing and available seats, admission may be determined by Amity JEE, JEE Main, or direct admission.

For International Students

• Equivalent qualifications to Indian 10+2.

• Proof of English proficiency may be required (e.g., IELTS/TOEFL scores).

At Amity University, Ranchi, students are offered a two-year MBA programme. Admission to the programme is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. According to the Amity Ranchi MBA eligibility criteria, candidates must completed a recognised Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Further, they must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates must present the documents and certificates proving their eligibility at the time of admission or the latest by Oct 30 of the year of admission.

Amity University, Ranchi, provides BCom admission to candidates who qualify in the multi-stage selection process. To be eligible to participate in the selection process, candidates must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Eligible candidates have to appear for an English language test, followed by GD/Extempore/Personal interview. A programme-based written test/creative/physical test is conducted if found necessary. The university also provides direct admission to candidates scoring 80% or above (aggregate) in Class 12 or CUET UG.

Candidates willing to take admission to the UG courses at Amity University Ranchi** can apply for scholarships of up to 100% if they have valid CUET scores. They must have also obtained the specified Class 12 scores to be eligible for the CUET scholarships. Amity Ranchi BCom (Hons) admission is subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria specified by the university. To be eligible for admission to the BCom (Hons) programme, candidates are required to have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 55%. Candidate who are currently awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply. However, they must submit the documents relating to their eligibility before Oct 30 of the year of admission.

Admission to UG courses is based on scores obtained in class 12, a written exam and an interview in a few cases. For PG courses, a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject along with performance in Amity entrance test or any national level examination, wherever applicable.
