The eligibility criteria for Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru M.Tech CSE is to secure a minimum 60% or CGPA 6.0 in B.E. / B.Tech. / M.Sc. in Engineering or Sciences discipline. The degree should be of relevance to the opted M.Tech. programme.  Further, candidates will be admitted based on the GATE score and Non-GATE qualified students will be admitted based on academic records and performance in interview. Candidates with a valid eligibility criteria & performance in the interview will be admitted to the first year of the two-year M.Tech programmes.

The BTech seat reservation policy at Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru is based on the entrance exam. The seats are bifurcated as below:

  • AEEE 2025 : 70 % of the seat allotment
  • JEE Mains 2025 : 30 % of the seat allotment

Yes, BTech from  Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru is worth pursuing. School of Engineering Bengaluru popular programmes are BTech and MTech. BTech and M.Tech students are placed in top companies such as Atlassian, Cisco,  Google, Microsoft,  TCS, Cognizant,  and others. BTech and M.Tech students can become Engineers or can go for other technical as well as non-technical streams. BTech students are taught Computational Physics, Discrete Mathematics, Technical Communication,  and various other topics as per the chosen specialisation.

While not 100%, Amrita School of Engineering Bengaluru does have a placement rate of 70%-80% in recent years. This is based on student reviews on online forums. While placement rate for 2025 & 2026 is not out yet, in 2024 the reported placement rate was 92%.
