What I thought about the college before joining it is like that.
Placements: Almost 70 - 80 percent of students are getting placed every year. Top recruiters include Google, Microsoft, PayPal, and Wipro. Top roles include AI Engineer, Data Scientist, and ML Engineer. The highest package is 52 LPA, the lowest is 7.5 LPA, and the average is around 20 LPA. 50-60 percent of the students are getting internships in companies like Google, Microsoft, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, library, and labs are well furnished and are available with Wi-Fi facilities. There is no water problem and drinking water is good. The hot water facility is good. They maintain a good hygienic atmosphere in every place. The taste of food available in the mess is below average. The food available in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are good. We have a clinic along with a medical store on campus where we get good treatment and medicine.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified with doctoral degrees. They are helpful in everything. Their teaching is good. Amrita is well known for keeping the course curriculum updated and is often compared with IITs. That curriculum makes students industry-ready. The syllabus is GATE-friendly. We have daily tests which are moderate and the semester exams are moderate to tough. The pass percentage is almost 100 percent every semester. Only 1-2 students fail every semester.
Other: With our curriculum (AID-CPSS) we can get into any field in computer Science and artificial intelligence. All things regarding computers and AI are covered in our curriculum. If daily exams were removed it would be better. Students get enough time to explore different things along with academics. We celebrate every festival. Fests happen regularly (at least one per month). We can freely communicate with students from other departments and seniors and we can make friends with them. Amrita has a slab system. Based on the rank we got in AEEE the fee is decided. We can do extracurricular activities after the academic hours.

Short review about Amrita Coimbatore.
Placements: Very good placements, many core companies visited here last year, and the highest package was like 86 LPA. Overall, they give exposure before the interview. We have subjects about speaking skills and logical reasoning, which are helpful. The average package is around 9.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are well maintained, the new blocks are fresh, and the food is okay, not spicy, food provided 4 times per day. There are 3 canteens, 2 providing non-veg and one providing pure veg. Canteen food is good. Wi-Fi is up restricted, so some sites won't load, but apart from that speed is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and guide us in projects, and we are allowed to participate in hackathons and competitions outside with college funding for some projects. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Mostly, if you listen to classes, you can score good marks, but a 9+ CGPA requires consistent study.
Other: Many famous activities and festivals happen around to keep you busy and entertained.

Where learning meets passion.
Placements: 95% of students are placed, Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Fidelity, IBM, Top roles offered are Software Engineer, Software Developed, The highest was 48LPA, the lowest is 3LPA, average is 15LPA, 60% got internship and the companies are Fidelity, Scale.
Infrastructure: The facilities available are Wi-Fi, labs, a water dispenser, library, study room. The quality of the rooms in the hostel is somewhere between average and high quality and some food is very delicious, while some is average. They also provide a cafeteria they have doctors available 24/7.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have completed their Ph.D. programme and are well knowledgeable. They actually maintain a well planned course curriculum and it makes each student get better and trains them well for their placements. The semester exams are quite challenging but if you prepare well you can ace it.
Other: The course I have chosen was CSE and it is a core subject as it helps in placement for all top IT companies. More practical training should be improved. The campus is always crowded and many technical events have been conducted.

Review of M.Tech in Biomedical Engineering.
Placements: Medtronic, Abbott, Cyrix Healthcare, and Boston Scientific are the formal recruiters for the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Peculiarly for the crucial roles like biomedical engineer, Field service engineer, etc. The salary packages range above 3,20,600 LPA as the minimum.
Infrastructure: The innovative laboratories with all the special healthcare set up are built with all such necessary biomedical devices. Students never tense about anything on campus, because there are some primary responsibilities in all the zones. Everything was followed by us under certain rules of management.
Faculty: Teachers are purely professional in the field of biomedical and engineering, and completed a Ph.D. or other equivalent degree. All the teachers had significant experience in relevant biomedical industries, and the teachers composed the complex concepts into much simpler means.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (Quantum Technologies) - Batch of 2029

Real truth of Amrita Coimbatore college, you can join this college or not? Is food nice or not?
Placements: I am the first batch in quantum technology in Amrita, so I can't tell the percentage of students placed as of now, but the dean of AI of our college predicts it to be more than 80 percent. Generally, Amrita has only 1 passed-out batch, so as per internal and dean talk, the highest was around 30 LPA. Many got good out-of-campus placements, and many were placed in good colleges for higher studies. Amrita is poor at bringing top companies for placements, but the quality of students was good, as I have seen them getting high placements in off-campus. Many got data security roles, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: To be fair, I consider infrastructure to be worth the money in college. We are getting good 24/7 Wi-Fi, classrooms with smart boards, personal desktops, and charging ports. Many say hostel food was not nice in Amrita, but for me, it's somewhat good compared to other colleges, I think. They may repeat the same menu across a week, but the quality of food is okay to eat. In the canteen, we can get non-veg, so it's also somewhat good, not perfect.
Faculty: The quality of faculty in the 1st year was average to good because they are assistant professors working in college, and on the side, they are working on their own projects and doing Ph.D.s. The syllabus was good, but we don't have high importance on the final semester. It's all in our group projects, interaction with all, assignments, and daily exams. So, that makes us industry-ready. No semester importance, just projects and their reviews, making us hands-on with hardware and software to apply to real-world problems.
Other: I chose this course because of the future scope of quantum. No extracurricular activities, as there is much pressure in academics. So forget about your extracurriculars when you join this college.
