Real truth of Amrita Coimbatore college, you can join this college or not? Is food nice or not?
Placements: I am the first batch in quantum technology in Amrita, so I can't tell the percentage of students placed as of now, but the dean of AI of our college predicts it to be more than 80 percent. Generally, Amrita has only 1 passed-out batch, so as per internal and dean talk, the highest was around 30 LPA. Many got good out-of-campus placements, and many were placed in good colleges for higher studies. Amrita is poor at bringing top companies for placements, but the quality of students was good, as I have seen them getting high placements in off-campus. Many got data security roles, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: To be fair, I consider infrastructure to be worth the money in college. We are getting good 24/7 Wi-Fi, classrooms with smart boards, personal desktops, and charging ports. Many say hostel food was not nice in Amrita, but for me, it's somewhat good compared to other colleges, I think. They may repeat the same menu across a week, but the quality of food is okay to eat. In the canteen, we can get non-veg, so it's also somewhat good, not perfect.
Faculty: The quality of faculty in the 1st year was average to good because they are assistant professors working in college, and on the side, they are working on their own projects and doing Ph.D.s. The syllabus was good, but we don't have high importance on the final semester. It's all in our group projects, interaction with all, assignments, and daily exams. So, that makes us industry-ready. No semester importance, just projects and their reviews, making us hands-on with hardware and software to apply to real-world problems.
Other: I chose this course because of the future scope of quantum. No extracurricular activities, as there is much pressure in academics. So forget about your extracurriculars when you join this college.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Completely satisfied with faculty and campus life, good infrastruce.
Placements: In my previous batch of students, among 120 members, the majority of those who opted for placement are placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, and the lowest is 4 LPA. The top company is Caterpillar. Various kinds of internships are provided, which are useful for students in Amrita.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi, proper conditions in labs, efficient library, food quality is average, and good facilities for sports and games. Food can be improved a bit, but that is secondary. You can really focus well on sports if you are interested. Multiple options like basketball, football, badminton, and powerlifting are available.
Faculty: Faculty here are highly qualified and help you in every aspect. Our course curriculum is relevant to IIT's curriculum. Difficulty is easy to average, but attention in classes is mandatory. Mid-semester exams are very important since they carry high weightage of marks, along with internals.
Other: I personally like mechanical engineering, the best thing is practical work. Better information can be provided in depth.

Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham where academic excellence and career opportunities.
Placements: Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham Coimbatore offers great academic industry exposure, 75% minimum placements for the students. Average package is 9 LPA, and the highest is 56 LPA. 60% of students got internships from IBM. Top companies are Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good, and Wi-Fi will be 24X7 overall the campus. Classrooms and labs are very good compared to normal hostels. International hostels will be better, they differ in the AC/non-AC, whether it depends on the students' comfort.
Faculty: Teachers in my college are very helpful and qualified with minimum experience of 15 years and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is nice. Course curriculum is relevant to students. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to write. Pass percentage will be more than 80%.
Other: I would recommend others to take admission in Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham as it offers a strong academic foundation, great infrastructure, and a supportive environment for overall growth including all events, fest, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, etc.

It is a good college for studying and has an environment-friendly.
Placements: According to the placement record, 92% of students get placed. The highest package offered is around 56 LPA, and the lowest is around 2 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc., visit for recruitment. I am not sure about the internships, but according to seniors' experiences, they get internships too.
Infrastructure: All facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, and library are good and well-maintained. The hostel rooms are good, but the mess food is not very good, it is average and sometimes not good at all. The canteen is well-managed and good. There are a few big grounds and many small grounds for playing. Overall, facilities are good except for the food in the mess.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and a few are not, but most are knowledgeable. The course and curriculum are good. There are many things built into the course that make learning efficient. First-year semester exams are somewhat easy, while going it may get difficult. To pass exams, we need at least to get 40 marks out of 100.

I studied here between 2021-2025 and I had an amazing life here.
Placements: About more than 90% of students got placed, with an average salary in computer science department of 7 LPA-9 LPA, whereas another department has an average of 4 LPA-5 LPA. They also provide us with both internships and internships with FTE.
Infrastructure: I'm a CSE student. Mostly we carry our laptops to classrooms for daily activities. Only on exam days, they provide us with their systems to avoid malpractice. When coming to hostel infrastructure, old hostels aren't that great but tight now new ones are building and they look amazing.
Faculty: Teachers are always friendly and helpful except for one or two, which usually happens everywhere. They train us not only for academics but also for the industry where we will go work. Semester exams are difficult for real. We should understand the concepts well to crack them.

It's a good college with advanced courses.
Placements: Placement is good. The students sit on campus for companies, like Amazon, TCS, Zoho, etc., which are big achievement companies visit our college. Every year, almost 95% of students get placed in companies.
Infrastructure: Hostel provides a home away from home to the students, keeping in view the same philosophy. The college provides a secure, comfortable, and healthy environment for all the students. The food in the mess is so good every week. They prepare hygienic food. The rooms are so good for studying and staying.
Faculty: Saying for the faculty, they are basically good and well-educated. The exams can be slightly complicated for the student to write. The course that I have taken is so good, from which, I learned many skills and I developed them by myself. The pass percentage of the college is about 45%, depending on the subject. If any student gets an arrear, he/she has to pay Rs. 700 for all UG programs.
Other: Education, skill projects, and extracurricular activities, which are most verified by the college.
