Since it is a regulatory body of higher education in the state, APSCHE does not award M.S. in Information Technology degrees. You have to apply for universities under APSCHE if you are interested in an M.S. in IT, such as Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University or Andhra University. Admission usually requires that one qualifies for entrance tests such as GATE, or a test set out by the university. The eligibility criteria application process, and deadlines can be obtained from the official websites of these universities.

The A.P. State Council of Higher Education, or APSCHE, is a regulatory body that oversees higher education in Andhra Pradesh, including Hyderabad. It assumes a critical role in maintaining and coordinating educational standards throughout the universities and colleges within the state. Although APSCHE enables quality education, having created many good colleges, it is only as good as the colleges under its purview. It, therefore, cannot be directly compared with other educational institutions in Hyderabad since its primary role is regulatory rather than instructional.

The highest package offered during placements in the institutions that are under the A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) varies according to the college. For instance, the highest package reported by Andhra University for the placement cycle of 2023 is INR 84.5 LPA. In similar lines, other institutions have also reported high packages; the maximum being INR 58 LPA, at KL University. These figures imply great placement opportunities and demand for graduates in almost all sectors, thus indicating the efficiency of the placement cells within these institutions in placing students with the best recruiters.

Admission to  (DLBC) for B.E. / B.Tech courses might be possible without Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, but it depends on a few factors:

 * Management Quota Seats: Some colleges in India reserve seats under the management quota for admission outside of entrance exams.

 * Lateral Entry: If you have completed a Diploma in engineering (relevant branch) from a recognised institution.

Management quota and the latest entry are the alternate way for admission without EAMCET
