Admission in NIE, Guntur in the integrated five-year B.Tech. + M.Tech degree programs, is strictly based on EAMCET ranking with a different cutoff every year depending upon various factors such as total applications received, number of seats available, and EAMCET performance. Generally, for B.Tech admissions, NIE has cutoff rank from 30,000 to 80,000 depending upon branches, while taking into account the EAMCET rank list. Cutoff of high-demand branches like Computer Science may be slightly high. For example, the exam was scheduled for 18th to 23rd May 2024 and the results were announced on 11th June 2024. In 2025, the exams are scheduled for 16th to 22nd May 2025 and the results are expected to be released by 5th June.
