Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examinations. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit. |

Yes, you can get admission to University College of Engineering, Kakinada for B.Tech with 60% in Class 12th. The college accepts scores from the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for admission to the B.Tech program. Candidates must take one of the entrance tests, such as JEE Main or the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, to be admitted to the B.Tech program. Furthermore, candidates seeking admission to JNTUK for a B.Tech program must have achieved an aggregate score of at least 45%.

The qualifying marks for the open category in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET are 40 out of 160, or 25% of the total marks in the exam. But there isn't a cutoff score for applicants from the SC/ST categories. A score of 120 or more on the Andhra Pradesh EAPCET 2024 is regarded as good.
