With a CUET PG 2026 score of 164 and a B.A. Economics from GITAM University, your chances of getting into top universities like Delhi University (DU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), or the University of Hyderabad are likely to be limited in the General category, as their M.A. Economics cut-offs are generally higher.

Yes, Andhra Pradesh has one of the strongest scholarship systems in India for engineering students. The state government offers fee reimbursement schemes for SC, ST, BC, and EBC category students, which essentially covers the full tuition fee for eligible students. Merit-based scholarships are also available in many private colleges for students with high Andhra Pradesh EAMCET ranks. Always check the scholarship eligibility before finalising your college — it can save you Lacs in tuition fees.

CSE and ECE remain the most popular and the highest-paying branches in Andhra Pradesh engineering colleges. CSE especially has seen massive demand due to the IT boom in cities like Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. Mechanical and Civil Engineering are good options if you are interested in core sectors, PSUs, or GATE. If you are unsure, CSE or ECE with a focus on certifications and internships is the safest and the smartest bet in today's job market.

Absolutely yes, most engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh admit students through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, which is the state-level entrance exam. You do not need JEE to get into reputed colleges like JNTUK, Andhra University College of Engineering, or SRM University AP. Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is conducted every year and covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
