Yes, for Anna University MCA admission, it is imp to have a valid TANCET score. Students seeking admission to the MCA course of Anna University must register themselves online by visiting the official site of the University. For admission in B.Tech CSE, you need to have 50% with mandatory subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Admissions are made through single window counseling based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) merit list, which is prepared on the basis of class 12th score.

You will come under other state quota. Counseling will be separately held for you. Anna University is general name to state government college. So, don't go by that name. Instead, use CEG,MIT,ACtech and so on. Food technology is provided by Actech.

There is quite low chances of getting CEG campus as your gate score is quite low fort this college but you can try your best, as I'm also telling you on the previous year basis only, there might be some change in the pattern this year.
