To participate in AP PGECET admission, candidates must meet eligibility criteria, which are as follows-
| Particulars | Details |
| Nationality | Indian and must have Andhra Pradesh domicile |
| Educational qualification | Bachelor's degree or equivalent |
| Minimum qualifying mark | 50% for general category and 45% for reserved category |
In addition, GATE or GPAT qualified candidates can also apply for AP PGECET.
