The nationality of the candidate must be Indian.
Applicants with a domicile in Andhra Pradesh are also eligible for the Andhra Pradesh PGECET exam.

The minimum qualifying percentage is 50% for the general category and 45% for the reserved category.

In order to be eligible to appear for the Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2025 exam, candidates must complete the payment process. Without that, the exam authorities will not release the candidate's admit card. Also, once the payment is complete, students must keep the receipt safe.

Candidates have to answer 120 questions in two hours in the Andhra Pradesh PGECET 2025. The total marks are 120. The candidate will be awarded one mark for each correct answer, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Every question on the exam paper is compulsory and carries one mark.
