Civil engineering and architecture are different fields that cannot be compared as such. Architecture is more of creativity and civil is the application part of that creativity. So, opt for a field in which you have a keen interest. Though in terms of scope in the government sector, I would prefer Civil engineering over architecture as per the current scenario.

If you want to go for architecture, then you should pursue B.Arch degree, and if you want to do civil engineering, then you will be required to pursue BE (engineering) and take up civil as specialization from 2nd year of BE. Both have similar opportunities.

These are the few irregularities I observed:
This year, the single correct questions were asked as the matrix match type questions. Usually matrix match type of questions consist of two columns, but this year, it had three columns.
One maths question in Paper 2 had none of the options correct and will most likely be awarded as bonus.
Paper 2 (especially Physics) was considerably more difficult than Paper 1. Generally, both the papers are of similar difficulty level.
Detailed Analysis:
Marks distribution by grade:
Key Takeaway: More weight is given to the 12th grade chapters compared

Sorry but your rank is too high because above 300 marks are required to get admission for B.Arch in NITs. So, you should try for private colleges.
