Working area and job opportunities for planners:
1) Government Sector: Planners are employed by Development Authorities for making Master Plans, Land Use Plans and Development Plans. As for now you can go with the Rajarambapu Institute of Technology for structural engineering as its placements are good and its ranking is better than others.

Hello Nandhakrishnan,
The required subjects in 10+2 is English and Mathematics only. So, you are eligible to do B.Arch provided you have cleared +2 with minimum of 50%.
You should also appear for entrance exams like NATA, JEE main paper 2 etc. to secure admission into the good colleges for B.Arch.

Eligibility for B.Arch. Candidates should have minimum score of 40% in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) I.e. at least 80/200, for consideration of admission into first year B.Arch.
