Hello Vivek,
To get admission into IITs for B.Arch, you need to write JEE Mains Paper 1 & 2. Then you need to clear JEE Advanced and after that, you should clear AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) to get into IITs for B.Arch.
You can get NITs only with JEE Mains paper-2.

To get admission into any NIT for engineering or architecture you need to write JEE main exam only.
For engineering you need to write JEE main paper 1 and for architecture paper 2.
Only if you have a good score and a top rank you can get NIT, Trichy or else you can get other NITs or GFTIs for archit

If you are keen on pursuing B Arch, you will have to choose science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your subjects.

Uk is the best option. You have three years UG degree and honours program of four years with the one-year internship.

B.Arch can't be compared to B.Tech because both are professional courses but their ideas and creative mind for thinking is different.
So, be careful about that you can't compare both but you can relate both of them as architecture is extended part of civil engineering.
