Hi Nitesh,
As per the official website the eligibility for applying for AIEEE is:
To appear in JEE (Advanced) a diploma holder can apply in JEE Main but
his rank and score for JEE (Main) will not be declared as diploma holders cannot apply for admission in NITs and CFTIs through JEE (Main) channel.
It is advisable to contact the institute officials or visit the official website to get the exact details on it.

Hi Deepjoti,
As mentioned on the official website the basic eligibility for WBJEE JELET in Engineering & Technology is:
Diploma holders have to pass Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
Aspirants must have pass XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
Diploma holders having above mentioned eligibility criteria shall also be eligible for
admission to the first year Engineering & Technology Degree Courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Hi Anu,
Switching careers is not advisable, specially when you have been associated in this industry since past 3 years.
If the student is interested in taking his career forward, eligibility for postgraduate programmes will be on the basis of a bachelor's degree in (B.E/B.Tech) or any other equivalent branches of engineering. The duration for this course is two years.
However, you can pursue some technical courses in Design like CADD
Other courses:

Diploma in Architecture Assistantship
Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture Engineering

Hi Heenal,
The first option you have is B.Arch
For this you have to take entrance examination. Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad offers the course.
Lateral entry into engineering courses. After diploma you can take entrance examination and get into second year of BE/ B.Tech programmes. You can opt for civil engineering or any other branch you are interested in.
The second option is to take Section 'A' and Section 'B' examinations given by the Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (AMIE). The degree is treated on par with BE/ B.Tech programmes. The eligibility criterion is threeyear polytechnic diploma

No, Architecture is not required to pursue Interior Design course.
You can pursue any of these undergraduate courses:
-Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Interior Architecture Design
-Bachelor of Design in Interior Design
