Hi,
You have forgotten to mention the institution about whose hostel you have asked. I have known of many colleges and universities where such a system exists, mostly, in fact in private universities only. If you feel that you have a big amount to spend then you may take a call for the AC one. Otherwise, I believe that as students we must not run after pleasures and facilities like these. To be good in architecture, AC or non-AC won't do any difference.

See, there is some kind of the caste system and some bureaucracy is also there as 90% of the admission they take is of Muslim candidate only. Also, there, you need have some kind of source only then the officer there will entertain your application.

There is no direct admission in M.Arch. You have to compete.

Yes, they have but very less seats I. e. only 6-7 seats I guess or even low.

With 97 marks, it will be difficult in AU. You have to look for alternates like Birla Institute Of Technology - [BIT Mesra], Ranchi, Chandigarh College Of Architecture - [CCA], Chandigarh, Lovely Professional University - [LPU], Jalandhar, etc.

Hi, Please find below the eligibility criteria for B.Arch course in Anna university:
1. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 studies with Mathematics as compulsory subject and 50% minimum marks in the 10+2 qualifying examinations are eligible for admission into the B.Arch. And B. Plan. Courses at SPA.
2. Candidates who are applying for the B.Arch. And B. Plan. Courses will be allotted seats based on their performance in the JEE Main. If you wish to apply in MEASI Academy of Architecture, you can apply in Mangemnet quota. Please get in touch with the college officials for detailed information
