NATA scores are used for admissions to different Government, government. Aided & unaided schools /colleges of Architecture. According to the Council of Architecture admission guidelines, a candidate applying to any school / college of architecture in India should have achieved 40% score in NATA I. e. at least 80/200, for consideration of admission into first year B.Arch. Who told you that. Both are different streams. Not every college is having B.Arch. Architecture and Civil are different fields. One design the project the other implement it.

For taking admission in B.Arch, you need to appear for the entrance exam and score good marks in the same. Your admission will be considered with respect to your score in the entrance exam and not only your class 12th marks.

Hello Jay,
Don't get disheartened as you are unable to score as per your expectations, so considering your marks you will not get any good colleges, so I will suggest you to better take a gap and prepare well for next year.
All the best.

50 percent weightage is given to NATA and 50 percent to boards. Let's just say, if you get 95 percent or so in boards try to get 110 in NATA. Basically, board marks+NATA score divided by 2 should be above 150 for you to get the government college in your very own state.
