TANATA is used only for admission to B.Arch seats at Anna University. How these seats are decided is mentioned below:
Conducted by Anna University, TANATA (Tamil Nadu Aptitude Test In Architecture) is an entrance exam for admissions to vacant/lapsed seats of B.Arch degree programme which fall under the management and government quota.
Currently, government quota seats at Anna University is filled on the basis of the marks obtained in 10+2 exam and in NATA. Further, the management and government quota lapsed seats are filled on the basis of the marks obtained in 10+2 exam and in NATA. The remaining vacant seats will then be filled on the basis of the marks acquired in 10+2 exam and JEE Main Paper 2 exam. After this round if any seats go vacant, they will be filled on the basis of the marks obtained in 10+2 exam and marks acquired in TANATA.
