To join Indian army after Engineering, there is University entry scheme, SSC entry, TGC entry, CDS etc. And, BE in IT will be very helpful. As our Army have a Branch called Military Intelligence, Army Signal Corps, where they need a person of IT or CS sector. You are eligible for it.

You can't apply in Army Institute of Technology with Diploma. But, if you appear in JEE Mains and score good enough (assuming you as army personnel ward) that ranks under 1 lakh you may get in. All the best.

No, Army Institute of Technology offers BE in computer engineering not B.Tech in CSE, though most of the things are same, but surely not the name. Though admissions are only open towards of serving or retired army personnel. For exact eligibility criteria, check the website www.aitpune.com.
