There are many courses offered at Assam Agriculutral University but B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture at Assam Agriculutral University is highly reputed across India. Placements are very easy for this course as demands in both private and government sectors is very much. You will get to learn many concepts like soil science, plant breeding etc.

The highest package offered at Assam Agricultural University is INR 12 LPA, and the average package is around INR 4 LPA. Around 70% of the students get placed every year. Some top recruiting companies include Amul, Nestle, Pradhan, Apollo Hospital, and other food industries.

Admission to BSc at Assam Agricultural University is based on the scores obtained in various entrance exams such as NEET PG and AAU entrance test. Cutoffs for all these exams for admission to 2025 have not been released yet. Admission at  Assam Agricultural University is based on the scores of  AAU Combined Entrance Examination (AAU CEE) and other national-level examinations so admission will begin after the announcement of the results of these examinations. For this year, the last date will be around the end of August. You can check the dates on the University Website.

Yes, an MBA from Assam Agricultural University is a good career option if you have an interest in Rural Development and the Agricultural sector. Fees for a two-year course for an MBA are around Rs. 46,000. It is very affordable and there are immense opportunities in Agricultural sector.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Assam Agricultural University offers MBA, MSc, BSc, BVSC, MVSC, BFSc, and MFSc. Admission to MVSC can be considered less difficult as it is done based on the scores obtained in the previous qualification. Admission to all other courses at the college can be considered difficult, as it is done based on the scores obtained in the ICAR AIEEA exam.
