For admissions into the B.Sc. Programmes at Assam Agricultural University (AAU), particularly into agriculture and allied fields, students need to qualify in the ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) with a competitive score.

While specific score ranges often vary based on parameters such as candidate category (OBC, SC, ST, General) and exam difficulty, and the number of applicants, a score between 500-700 marks out of a total of 1200 usually lands in the competitive zone for entry into AAU's B.Sc. Agriculture programme.

But one thing to be noted, this varies in a year-wise manner depending on the overall performance

Assam Agricultural University (AAU) has qualified and competent faculty members with experience in the agribusiness, agriculture, and rural management fields.

Faculty members have higher-level qualifications like PhDs and expert knowledge across several subjects on business management, agriculture, and economics with rural development components.

They are further involved in research projects and industrial collaborations and offer exposure to the realities of the business world for students. There might not be as wide a field or option of specialisation as with more established business schools in case of depth.

As compared to quite a few other institutes, the MBA course fee structure for Assam Agricultural University (AAU) is fairly reasonable.

The total fee on average for an MBA course study programme in AAU usually goes around INR 50,000-70,000 per semester; it often involves the tuition fees, hostel facility, and other administrative or miscellaneous costs. An entire MBA programme usually covers a period of two years, with the expenses being between INR 1,00000 to 1,50000 approximately at the very best.

This depends very much on the academic year, hence it is always best to refer directly to the official AAU website or the university for the

Assam Agricultural University's MBA programme has bred up a series of recruiters quite notable over the years, especially for this agribusiness consultancy program.

The list, though definitely not much to show for in comparison to the big names of business schools, is signaling the fact that since the focus of this university has been more on agriculture and rural development, other companies come from the same areas. Some of the major recruiters are those like ITC, Reliance Fresh, Mahindra Agribusiness, and Nestlé that belong to agribusiness companies, while others specialize in banking, FMCG, and consultancy.

Some of them are al
