To pursue BSc Nursing from Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, an applicant must have passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate in class 12 with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Furthermore, Male candidates are not eligible for admission at Govt. institutes affiliated with Sankaradeva University Guwahati and must seek admission at Private colleges that offer BSc Nursing.

Admission for a course at Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences is dependent upon the merit list generated based on the scores of the course-specific entrance exam. For the BPharm/DPharm candidates must also meet a cutoff of the 30th percentile for General candidates and 20th percentile for SC/ST/OBC/Divyang candidates in Govt. institutions. For Private institutions, General candidates must meet the 20th or 18th Percentile, SC/ST/OBC candidates must meet the 18th or 15th Percentile and Divyang candidates must meet the 15th Percentile in the management quota and the remaining 50% seats, respectively.

Candidates who have registered for admission at Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences must wait for the release of the merit list based on course-specific entrance exams. Depending upon the candidate's rank on the merit list and the competition for their choice of location/institution, the final cutoff will be released on the official college admission portal.

A candidate may only apply for one course through one application form in Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences. As each course has a course-specific entrance exam, that must be accessed through different exam portals. For example, Students who wish to apply for UG-level Nursing programmes must apply for the BSc Nursing entrance exams, while students who wish to apply for UG-level BPharma programmes must apply for the BPharma/DPharma entrance exam.

The last date to apply for Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences will depend upon the course and level of the course the candidates wish to opt for. Here is a general overview: BPMT candidates must apply before June 15, 2025, BSc Nursing candidates must apply before 29 May 2025, BPharma candidates must apply before 23 May 2025. For the other course application dates candidates can check the official website.

To enroll in the BPharma programme of Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences, a candidate must follow the steps below:

Step 1: Log in to the college portal.

Step 2: Click on the Entrance Exams Tab.

Step 3: Select 'Pharmacy' as your course preference from the list.

Step 4: Click on Application Form.

Step 5: Fill required details and upload documents.

Only candidates who receive a seat in a college that offers MBBS under SSUHS Assam will receive admission.

Eligible candidates must pay an admission fee of INR 18,000 for enrollment into the BSc Medical Technology programme at Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences. The number of seats for the MBBS is dependent upon the number of affiliate colleges under Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences that offer MBBS as a programme and their respective intake capacity. Candidates who appear for the MBBS Entrance Exam for admission into the SSUHS Assam MBBS programme will have to specify their preferred locations/institutions during the counselling process, and depending on their score and preferences, will seat allocation will be determined for the candidate.
