While AIN Silchar provides excellent simulation labs and local hospital training, colleges in Guwahati like Asian Institute of Nursing Education (AINE) or Nemcare often have a slight edge in clinical exposure. This is because Guwahati-based students have access to a larger number of super-specialty hospitals and a higher volume of diverse medical cases compared to the more localised training available in Silchar.

Yes, candidates from all streams can fill the application form of UCEED. Also, note that Biology will not be considered in place of Mathematics. The application form for UCEED 2026 must be filled out by candidates after ascertaining their eligibility. IIT Roorkee has the same eligibility criteria as IIT Guwahati.
