NIPER Guwahati offers various PG courses such as MTEch, MPharma and MS. The duration of these courses is two years. It is divided into four semesters.

No, candidates cannot take direct admission at NIPER Guwahati. The admissions are entrance based and candidates have to appear for NIPER-JEE exam. After this, counselling is conducted. 

PhD applicants at NIPER Guwahati should have Master's degree in any branch of Pharmaceutical sciences, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or any related fields. Candidates should have valid fellowship from CSIR-UGC (JRF), DBT (JRF), ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, or equivalent programmes. They have to mail their application and CV to academic counsel. Candidates applying to NIPER Guwahati should not have age more than 28 years. They should have scored a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.75 out of 10 in the qualifying degree and 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Candidates applying for MPharma at NIPER Guwahati have to qualify NIPER-JEE exam. The minimum cut off for M.Pharm at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Guwahati is 60. Exams like GATE/MS are also accepted by  NIPER Guwahati.
