ADTU - Assam Down Town University admissions are open for all courses. For MBA admissions there is no entrance test to be given. Admission is done on the graduation percentage which should be around 50 percent. To get admission in the B.E/ B.Tech course at ADTU (JEE Mains) conducted by NTA (national testing agency) is considered with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised university. For BSC admissions TJEE counselling is considered in ADTU.

The application last dates for ADTU are yet to be announced. To get admission, candidates usually need to appear for a national-level entrance exam. For some courses, admission is based on the merit achieved in the last qualifying examination. Assam Down Town University (ADTU) offers a number of courses for all the students. It offers a total number of 22 courses for the students. 

The course types offered here are degree, Diploma and even certification. There are many departments here such as - paramedical, science, engineering, medical, pharmacy, arts, computer applications, commerce, hotel management, mass communications and vocational courses. 

Admission to the MBA programme in dual specialisations are currently ongoing at Assam Down Town University (ADTU). Firstly, a candidate has to clear the general eligibility criteria of scoring 50 percent in graduation. Also, you can opt to take the ADTU CST (Common Scholarship Test). Alternatively, ADTU also welcomes candidates based on their undergraduate performance, a good CGPA or Merit scores obtained. 

NIT Silchar outscores NIT Agartala in terms of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2022 in the Engineering category. NIT Silchar was ranked 38, whereas, NIT Agartala was ranked 80 in the year 2022 by NIRF. However, academically, there is not much difference between the two. Talking about the fees of both the NITs, NIT Agartala M.Tech fee will range between INR 1.4 Lacs - INR 3.5 lakh. For NIT Silchar, the M.Tech fee is INR 1.4 lakh. 

For NIPER Guwahati admission to the postgraduate programmes, candidates have to appear for NIPER JEE. Further, shortlisted candidates have to appear for NIPER JEE counselling for seat allotment. Candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum 45% aggregate or Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE-recognised institute are eligible to apply for the BCA programme at NIELIT Guwahati.

Candidates need to obtain at least 50% in each module to qualify in any respective exam at NIELIT Guwahati.
