If you can explain this gap with job or any other reason, you can apply to Australia. Just look for course first and then check the requirements for it. Generally, you need your transcripts, work experience certificate (if any), letter of recommendations and English proficiency test IELTS, etc.

Both countries are equally good in terms of jobs but Canada is better for renewable energy degree and with CGPA 3, Australia will be easier to get. If you have a good profile in terms of research, extra-curricular and internships you can try Canada first and then Australia.

Every university has its own set of admission requirements. To check if you meet the academic requirements, you should visit the university websites. To apply to certain universities such as UNISA, you must hold a license to practice as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience. Additionally, a few universities like University of Melbourne requires your qualification be assessed for equivalency prior the application process. These details would be mentioned on the university websites.

Criteria differ from program to program and if you are applying for diploma, Bachelors, Masters or research program.
Applications for the 2017 round have now closed. Applications for the 2018 round of the Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are expected to open in April 2017. Please check the Endeavour Scholarship and Fellowships website for the eligibility, application forms and all the updates will be out in April 2017.
