Yes, students can postpone their entry at AUT Uni to a later intake if they have an admission offer and feel it is not the right time to study at the uni. To do that, they would need to complete the International Student Defer Study Form. This can be done via the university website.
This form is to be submitted online to the AUT Uni admissions team. They would then share a decision for entry to a different intake at Auckland Technology Uni.

Indian students interested in a UG degree can enrol at AUT Uni with an IELTS score of 6.0 (no band less than 5.5). For UG (Honours) degree or a PG degree, the minimum IELTS score requirement is 6.5 (no band less than 6.0).

Yes, students can study at the Auckland University of Technology without IELTS. Students with strong scores in their Class 12th English exam or valid scores in other English tests like TOEFL, Perason PTE, Cambridge English, or NZCEL can study here without IELTS.

Yes, students can apply to Auckland Uni Technology before receiving their final school results. Students can submit the online application with most recent available results.
AUT Uni may give a conditional offer to students based on whether their final results align with the programme entry requirements.

Indian students must meet the program specific requirements. Mentioned below are the AUT requirements for students:
For UG admissions:
- Class 12th with a minimum 75% in four academic subjects, including a min 60% in English from either the AISSC, ISC, CISCE or Karnataka, Maharahstara, and West Bengal State boards OR
- An overall 80% in four academic subjects with a min 65% in English from any other state board
- Meet the Auckland University of Technology English requirements
For PG admissions:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised institute
- Meet the AUT English requirements
- Submit additional test score of GMA
