If you have pursued an AICTE approved three-year full-time Diploma after Class X which is offered by Board of Technical Education of any state in India or Union Territories as mentioned on http://www.aicte-india.org/statisticbote.php
Then you are eligible to apply for NID. Still, I would suggest you to contact the college itself for a detailed information.

Only students who have cleared 10+2 successfully are eligible for this course. Along with the above mentioned basic eligibility, students have to clear the entrance exams as well to be eligible for the course. Since you have not cleared class 12th exams you will not be permitted to pursue this course.

Yes, you are eligible for B. Des. There is no such barrier candidates from any stream are eligible for B. Des, but arts stream is more preferred, because it will helps you in your first year.

For B. Des in automobile designing, you should take PCM that is, Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The eligibility for automobile designing in NID requires 10+2 Maths.
