Hello Varun,It is very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your Diploma in automobile engineering. You should first seek permission from your office to pursue this course. Then you should look out for an institution in your place of work which offers part time Diploma course since it may not be feasible for you to attend regular classes. If this is not feasible then you should go in for Diploma by correspondence. Best wishes to you.

B.Tech in Amity University Mumbai is a really good course to enroll into. The course is very well planned and structured. It has good and experienced faculty members who are always ready to help. The classes are very well timed and this course gives a hand on industry experience. Amity Mumbai also has a tie up with TATA Technologies which is an additional benefit for the students.

B.Tech after Diploma is the right option, if it is done just after the completion of Diploma course. There are so many of options will be open after the B.Tech like GATE UPSC and Private sectors. Before joining any B.Tech course few things must be kept in mind.
1. Never do the B.Tech course through the distance mode.
2. College where you wish to pursue the course must be AICTE approved.
3. Prefer to join B.Tech course through the Lateral entry scheme in regular mode.

Hello Rohan,
It is very nice to see your interest in automotive engineering. But I am afraid IIT Roorkee, I don't think offers this course. I am attaching a link that will give you the list of different courses that are offered by IIT Roorkee from undergraduate level till Research and post graduate level. You can go through this list and once again check for yourself if I missed out on this automotive engineering. I think you need to find some other place and some other Institute where you can pursue your dream of becoming an Automotive engineer. https://www.iitr.ac.in/admissions/pages/Programmes+Courses_of_Study.html
