Degree has more value than 1 year course, as you will cover and practice the same curriculum over span of 3- 4 years than in 1 year. Good luck.

To be clear, you will not be called as an engineer. You will be called a student who has just completed the certification. To be honest, nowadays the competition so tough that even the students who are completing their 4-year degree course, i.e. engineers are struggling to get jobs. Also, the vacancies in this field are generated less in number. So, think that if an engineer applies for the same post you are applying with only one year course, who will get importance? You can pursue automobile engineering. The eligibility of the same is as follows:
The students, who wish to pursue automobile engineering, should have qualified class 12th with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board in India. Candidates, who wish to join IITs, should have cleared JEE Main and Advanced. Whereas, admission to NITs depends on candidate's JEE Mains score.

Hello Thanuja,You can study automotive systems at different levels. If you have completed your class 10th, then you can study this as Diploma in automobile system, if you have completed class 12th, then you can think of getting admission in an engineering college with the specialist of branch, as automobile engineering. If you are already an engineer, then you can do post-graduation studies in automotive systems or its different aspects of it. Hello,It has a winter intake. You need to appear for IELTS or TOEFL.
Need to give GRE exam.
It is not mandatory but would be recommended if you clear at least the first level, if German proficiency language test.
German universities are purely academic based university, you need to have an excellent score above 65 percent.

Hello Ashish,
There are plenty of colleges in Maharashtra offering automobile engineering branch. Now colleges in Maharashtra have the admission based on MHCET conducted by government of Maharashtra. However the list contains names of some colleges which are part of deemed university status. Such institutes conduct their own exam and hence you will have to appear for their own exam if you want to get admission.
